Accenting homes with stunning seasonal planters is the most wonderful way to usher in a new season. Each season brings new things to look forward to in the garden, just as all parts of our lives. I’ve always loved creating something new each season to embrace what is to come over the next few months. Spring with its pastels and the burst of new green after a long winter. Summer with vibrant colors embracing the sun and enjoying BBQ’s with friends and cocktails on the patio. Autumn as the earth starts to slow down again and the leaves give us a new show of color: a time for football, fall walks, and evenings around the firepit. And lastly, the ushering in of winter. Evergreen branches dipped in frost and snow, accented by berries and twinkle light. The ultimate calm and slow down at the end of the year, and a chance to exhale. Magical and Cottage Garden Backyard Design
The client requested a space that felt private and whimsical. Drainage was an issue along the fence, so utilizing plants that did well with more water was important. A cottage garden was added along a garden path, as well as new raised beds for growing vegetables and fruits.
Elegant and Classic Front Yard Design
The request was for a front yard landscape that felt timeless and classic. Use of repeating patterns and low maintenance plants was important, including accenting the grandeur and style of the home.
