I can’t remember a time of my life that I wasn’t surrounded by gardens. From the time I was little, my mom and grandma instilled an appreciation for tending things and watching them grow.
My earliest chores around the house included weeding and watering the garden, and I remember spending hours hiding underneath the tables of the garden nurseries while my mom shopped.
Landscape by Lauren was born out of a love for helping homeowners invest in their outside homes through amazing landscape design and seasonal planters.

I live in Kansas City, but I work on projects and do consultations all over the United States. The only service that I offer that is location based are my seasonal planters.
Custom seasonal planters are designed and installed in your planters by me. All other installation of garden designs is left for you to find a contractor you love for installation or DIY it and take the installation at your own pace! If you’d like me to work directly with your landscape contractor for plant selection and spacing, that is an option for an additional fee.
No – there are too many variables in keeping plants alive and thriving for me to be able to guarantee their success. Even the most seasoned gardeners have plants fail sometimes. Gardening is a practice of learning what works, but working with someone who understands your region and pain points is the best leg up you can get in the gardening world!
Yes – whether you’re in the middle of redoing your landscape or starting completely fresh, I can help you.
There’s no bad time to design a landscape, but there is a bad time to plant it. When you’re working with me, I’ll ensure you know when is the best time to plant your landscape for the highest success.
